I came across your product while searching for a good leveling system that would make life easier, so after reviewing all of your videos (which are great) I decided to give them a try. I must say that they are much more than what I expected. To anyone reading this and thinking, that's just an added expense to my kitchen, please know this, for the time saved and the structural stability of you cabinet they are not an expense but a great time saver and one of the best options that you can add to your cabinets. I have used these on standard base cabinets and some very large and heavy custom storage cabinets. I will never do another install without them. The knowledge I had going into the project was vague at best. It was sheer coincidence that I happened upon a video for your ez-level system while looking for kitchen ideas. Boy am I glad I did! Your instructional videos gave me the mental and physical tools I needed to get the job done like the pros. I bought all the same tools and did everything precisely as you demonstrated... right down to the stain marker. Everything is split-laser level, perfect, and beautiful! Believe it or not, I actually pulled off this entire job without so much as a single mis-drilled hole. For potential customers: The ez-level system is THEE system to get. Don't shop around any longer. This is the one. It may seem pricey compared to some 5 dollar store-bought deal, but I'm here to tell ya folks, it's WELL worth it just from a standpoint of frustration avoidance alone. I am a DIY of average skill level who had never installed cabinets before. I watched the videos on youtube, ordered the products and used them on an installation in an alcove with a badly sloping concrete floor. I was able to level the (asssembled) base cabinets in minutes with ez-level. It would have been a horrible task to level that run with shims. It's a pleasure to find a good product designed by an experienced craftsman. The directions were clear, shipping was fast, the assistance with what I needed to order was spot on with no wasted money and the installation and levelling process using your system allowed me to install a 100 sq ft kitchen's base cabinets in two days. It honestly took me longer to hook the run of hickory cabinets together than it did to set them on the floor and level them. A customer we have done small jobs for wanted to remodel her kitchen. We said "sure", with tounge in cheek. Well to make a long story short, she wanted me to install all her cabinets, about 20 in all, uppers and lowers and even an appliance garage. I went to the internet to look to see how to install cabinets, never, never, done that job before. That is where I saw your videos. EXCELLENT in every sense of the word. And I saw some others that were totally ridiculous...ha. Brooks, I followed your instructions to a T, and they went up like I have been doing it forever. I was even able to split the laser line on all the cabinets on 3 walls. That is how great your instructions were, and of course, the levelers made it possible to do that in just a short time. One of the benefits of your levelers showed up quickly. The dishwasher started to leak, a lot really, from a loose hose. Those cabinets would have been damaged immediately if that had not been up off the ground. And the owner knew of the benefit because I had told her ahead of time. The ability to level the cabinets from the front without having to move the cabinets in and out to get shims correctly aligned is priceless. I was able to get the base cabinets so level I split my rotating the laser beam level. The Granite guys could not believe how level I got them. I have done a lot of home remodeling and am somewhat of an aspiring woodworker, but I had not installed very many kitchen cabinets. This was to be the first set I have installed with granite counter tops so I was concerned about getting them level. These are in my house so I wanted them to be right. I purchased the necessary levelers and was extremely happy with them, not only do they function as advertised, but they are very easy to install. I purchased a laser and used your entire system as best as I could and am very happy with the results, as is my wife. The relatively small investment in the levelers was very worthwhile. Our counter tops are due in any day and we are very excited. Not only are your products as good as advertised but the service from your company was great, you called because you had some parts on back-order and offered to send the levelers overnight at your expense. I work in a service type atmosphere and lack of service is one of my pet peeves, it is so refreshing to find a company that still offers good products and very good service. Why didn't someone come up with this a long time ago. This system is simple and does exactly what you have said. Which says a lot now days. Most deals are gimmicks and really doesn't work. Awesome product and the best part of it is when the homeowner watched me split the laser on the cabinets. I didn't even put a level on the bottom cabinets at all. After about 4 hours of fighting I ended up with the left back corner of the three cabinets touching the floor and the right front corner a half inch off the floor (and no, there is no floor drain in the kitchen). I said to myself this ain't right. So I get on the internet and start searching for how to's. I found your site and watched the video. You make it look very simple (as all sales videos do), but everything that you showed made perfect since to me. I knew that having a stack of shims on the floor was not a very stable method of leveling the cabinets. In my mind I saw someone bumping up against the cabined and the shims falling over (not a pretty sight). When I see something that makes sense, like your EZ-Level, I didn't hesitate and placed an order for four levels. Then I went and un-installed the base cabinets and waited for the levels to arrive. Just like your web site stated they arrived in two days. The following Saturday I started to re- install the cabinets. This time I followed the instructions in your video. It was amazing. Everything went together just as you said in the video. It was like I've been installing cabinets for 20 years. By 11:00am the cabinets were in and perfectly level ( I even split the laser line, it was so cool). It's not too often that you find a product that works as stated in the sales literature.
